Wear Now, Wear Later! August 18, 2010

Hi everyone,

Yes, its true….Labour Day is just around the corner. But, whether you’re sad to see your beach bum ways ending or totally excited about coloured leaves and fall fashion, don’t pack away your favorite summer pieces just yet! For one thing, even though we’re in Canada it seems that in many parts of our country fall is getting warmer and warmer (hopefully I’m not jinxing us!). But, even when the weather does cool, you can still keep some summer pieces hanging in your closet. That favorite dress you are wearing now with bare legs and sandals might look equally fabulous with opaque tights, a cardigan and fall ankle booties. Or, you can try throwing a longer sleeve tee or turtleneck under the dress and wear with your favorite knee high boots. A change of purse and you’re good to go for September and beyond!

Hello everybody,

Like most working moms, I have a hectic schedule as I juggle career and family and try to maintain a some semblance of my pre-kids social life. I seem to rarely have time for a full change of clothes when I’m heading out on the town after work and I know I’m not alone. Our latest video shows you how easy it can be to go from day to night. Plus, from a budget perspective, it’s always nice when outfits can take you through the entire day, non?

This week’s featured look will keep you stylish as you continue to enjoy summer and start thinking a bit (just a bit) about fall styles. Enjoy!

Ziliotto 2010 Summer collection! July 26, 2010

Hello everybody,

Hanging around T.O. for the long weekend? Come to Queen west and visit us at the store! We head to France next week for a whole month so we’d love to say hello to all our favorite customers (that’s you!) before we’re off.

Right now, the store is full of pretty pieces that will keep you comfy yet chic in the heat. I’m absolutely loving our navy striped t-shirt dress. I’ve worn it everywhere from Dufferin Grove Park with the kids to dinner at Foxley with the girls. And, I know I’ll be wearing it to Film Fest this fall with some funky tall boots! My friend MJ came by the store the other day and mentioned how excited she is about her upcoming trip to Paris. Of course we got talkin’ about the fabulous world of Parisian fashion… you know, what’s hot, what’s not, kind of thing.

Us girls are always trying to look “fashion appropriate” when we visit a new city (especially Paris!), so I suggested to MJ one of the best and easiest ways to “assimilate” would be to accessorize with an amazing scarf. MJ felt a little lost about how to properly wear one, which made me think…other girls might have the same questions.

We decided to make a little video… scarf stylin’ 101 if you will. Hope it helps!
